The Aeronautical Chart V500 – Benelux is the first European aviation chart fully compliant with the ICAO 1:500,000 standard. Specially designed for VFR flights, it provides pilots with a highly detailed and accurate overview of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
The chart includes:
- VFR reporting points
- Airports with name, frequency, runway length and orientation
- Traffic circuits and circuit direction
- Elevation data and airspace structure (FIS sectors with frequencies)
- Areas for gliding, hang gliding, microlight flying and parachuting
- Navigation aids (NDB, VOR, DME, VORTAC) with frequencies and Morse code
- Aviation obstacles and Maximum Elevation Figures (MEF)
- Isohypse lines, motorway codes and integrated coordinate ruler
On the reverse side, you’ll find additional information such as ATS and VOLMET frequencies, VFR cruising levels, altimeter setting instructions, and visual light signals.
