AeroShell W80 Plus is specifically designed for use in cooler climates. This modern single grade oil combines AeroShell’s proven ashless dispersant technology with enhanced anti-wear and anti-corrosion additives.
The anti-wear additive (similar to Lycoming LW16702) forms a microscopic protective layer on moving parts during cold starts, minimizing metal-to-metal contact when oil circulation is still low. Combined with a corrosion inhibitor, W80 Plus is the ideal oil for aircraft operating in cooler climates or flown less frequently.
