AeroShell Oil 100 (SAE 50) is a straight mineral oil without dispersant, designed for use in civil aviation piston engines. It is blended from carefully selected high-viscosity index base oils and contains no detergents or anti-wear additives.
This oil is especially recommended during the break-in period of a new or freshly overhauled engine. Its composition supports the proper seating of piston rings and seals.
Applications:
- For piston engines where non-dispersant oils are specified
- Specifically recommended during engine break-in periods
- Supports correct component wear-in and sealing
